Christine Castille Angelle was born and raised in Breaux Bridge, the seventh of eight children. She is married to Todd Angelle and they have four children - Alex, Adam, Olivia and Caroline. Her parents, Jean and Kit Castille, have provided her with a strong religious foundation and have been influential in her pursuit of providing religious support and guidance to others. Her involvement and dedication to St. Bernard Parish and to religious education goes back to the days when her mother taught CCD classes. Christine began teaching religion classes at St. Bernard Church in high school and became a Eucharistic Minister. Since 1989, she has continued to serve as Eucharistic Minister, a religion teacher, campus minister, and has served on various Parish and Diocesan Christian Formation Advisory Council committees. She obtained a Master Catechist and Director of Religious Education certification through the Diocese of Lafayette and is currently the Director of Religious Education here at St. Bernard Catholic Church, providing positive and supportive Religious Education programs for grades 1 through 11, including the Sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation. Christine's active role at St. Bernard Parish is very important to her and her family.
